Role – Global Markets – IoT Solutions Sales Manager

Area of expertise – Internet of things, Technical SME for Software Delivery Solutions, SME in Software for Manufacturing, Factory Automation systems & solutions

Location – Zurich, Switzerland

Job Description

  • Define the IoT sales strategy for the specific industry verticals based on the market needs
  • Execute the Sales strategy working with the unit and vertical sales teams - articulate the value proposition, the solution components /details and the differentiation
  • Responsible for delivering a revenue target and profit margin by selling services, related Infosys and partner IPs/capabilities in assigned industry verticals
  • Work with clients and the delivery teams to understand industry and client related opportunities and provide solutions leveraging the IoT capabilities
  • Build internal cross-unit relationships with Key contacts work with the Infosys Quality Consulting Practices
  • Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – Identify the right business initiatives, prioritize areas to focus, develop compelling & differentiated proposals (in some cases RFIs and RFPs), present the solution and value proposition to the clients
  • Facilitate workshops (Design Thinking-based or other methodologies) with clients to identify business use cases
  • Build and nurture senior executive (SVP/VP/Senior Directors) relationships
  • Work with analysts/ represent Infosys in conferences to create mindshare around the offering and Infosys direction
  • Work with Partners in making the solution a reality (define and develop POCs) and build an extended pipeline funnel
  • Take these client engagement definitions and provide oversight to the delivery team
  • Help the internal teams understand the value proposition, key actors and make sure the solution development is aligned to the key value areas and the specific roles
Required

  • 8-15 + years’ experience in selling enterprise solutions to large Fortune 1000 clients
  • Good process and technical knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT)/ Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)/ Industrial Automation solutions
  • Significant experience working in or selling to manufacturing industry (discrete or process) and interacting with manufacturing operations stakeholders
  • Successful sales track record – Consistent top performer
  • Goal driven, ability to work in a global team and strong communication skills (English)
Essential

  • Significant business development and project management experience required
  • Experience in the relevant industry vertical
  • Knowledge of industry specific go-to-market solutions a plus.
  • Good understanding of industry specific business issues and drivers a plus
  • Track record of interacting and building relationship with C-level client contacts
  • Experience in managing large multi-location consulting engagement team desirable
  • Track record as Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience preferred
